The cabin was built on a grade that made it difficult to use the yard. We decided to bulldoze the yard to soften the grade and make it more usable. We ended up lowering the front yard by about five feet and pushing the excess to the edge. This created more level ground and the future home of a small barn or garage that will be added in the future.
Once we complete that, we started on the construction of the porch stairs. We didn't have time to install the railings but we'll get to that on another weekend.
